Day-wise Itinerary 5 days

Day 1

Bhubaneswar to Gangtok ⌄

Assemble at Bhubaneswar Airport by 07:00 AM, then proceed to Bagdogra. On arrival at IXB Airport, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft). Check in to hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir ⌄

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft), about 55 km one way from Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (Alternate sightseeing provided if Tsomgo Lake is closed.)

Day 3

Gangtok to Darjeeling via Namche ⌄

After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (6,950 ft) via Namche. On arrival, check in to hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4

Darjeeling Sightseeing ⌄

Early morning drive to Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga, returning via Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5

Darjeeling - IXB Airport Departure ⌄

After breakfast, check out from hotel and take the departure transfer for your onward journey.
