Day-wise Itinerary 12 days

Day 1

Arrival at Haridwar ⌄

Arrive at Haridwar — Gateway to the Gods. Transfer to hotel. Attend the divine evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri — a spiritually uplifting experience on the banks of the holy Ganga. Overnight at Haridwar.

Day 2

Haridwar – Barkot ⌄

After an early breakfast, drive to Barkot (210 km / 7 hrs) via Mussoorie. Enjoy scenic mountain views. Check into hotel. Visit Surya Kund hot spring. Overnight at Barkot.

Day 3

Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot ⌄

Drive to Janki Chatti (20 km), then trek 6 km to Yamunotri Temple — source of the sacred River Yamuna. Offer prayers; take a holy dip in Surya Kund. Cook rice in the hot spring (a local tradition!). Return to Barkot. Overnight.

Day 4

Barkot – Uttarkashi ⌄

Morning drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple. Explore local markets for trekking gear and spiritual souvenirs. Overnight at Uttarkashi.

Day 5

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi ⌄

Drive to Gangotri (100 km) — origin of the holy Ganga. Attend morning pooja at Gangotri Temple; visit Bhojbasa and Surya Kund. Return to Uttarkashi. Overnight.

Day 6

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi ⌄

Scenic drive through Himalayan valleys to Guptkashi (220 km). Overnight.

Day 7

Guptkashi – Kedarnath ⌄

Early drive to Gaurikund (30 km). Begin the 16-km pony/palanquin/trek to the sacred Kedarnath Temple — one of the 12 Jyotirlingas set against the backdrop of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Attend evening aarti. Overnight at Kedarnath.

Day 8

Kedarnath – Guptkashi ⌄

Morning Abhishek at Kedarnath temple. Descent to Gaurikund; drive to Guptkashi. Overnight.

Day 9

Guptkashi – Badrinath ⌄

Drive to Badrinath (215 km) via Joshimath. Arrive and check into hotel. Attend evening aarti at the Badrinath Vishnu Temple. Overnight.

Day 10

Badrinath Darshan & Local Sights ⌄

Morning Abhishek at Badrinath temple. Visit Mana Village — the last Indian village before Tibet — Vyasa Gufa, Saraswati River origin and Vasudhara Falls. Overnight at Badrinath.

Day 11

Badrinath – Rishikesh ⌄

Drive back to Rishikesh via Joshimath and the Panch Prayag (five sacred river confluences). Overnight at Rishikesh.

Day 12

Rishikesh – Departure ⌄

Morning yoga session on the banks of the Ganga. Visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Transfer to Haridwar/Dehradun airport for your flight home with divine blessings.
