Day-wise Itinerary 5 days

Day 1

Arrival in Shanghai ⌄

After arrival, transfer to hotel and rest. Have lunch, then visit The Bund waterfront district and shop along Nanjing Road with People's Square. Enjoy the Huangpu River in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Shanghai Sightseeing ⌄

Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden and a silk factory, then see the Oriental TV Tower (outside) and the Shanghai Jinmao Tower (88th floor). Later shopping at AP Plaza local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Train to Beijing, Temple of Heaven ⌄

After breakfast take the high speed train to Beijing. On arrival have lunch and visit the Temple of Heaven, then check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

Great Wall & Summer Palace ⌄

Drive to visit the Jade factory and the Great Wall at Juyong Pass. In the afternoon return to Beijing city and visit the Summer Palace, with an outside view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Departure ⌄

Visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Pearl factory, followed by shopping at a local market. After dinner take the train back to Shanghai and transfer to the airport for departure.
